Extended Day

Extended Day is an innovative before and after school program that gives students in grades K–5 a safe environment to balance learning and recreation through participation in a wide variety of fun, hands-on experiences. The program offers daily enrichment activities, physical activities, and a certified homework teacher. All students will receive a free breakfast and afternoon meal.

Program Eligibility

Any student who attends Flagler Schools, or is a resident of Flagler County who attends a private school, in grades K–5, and is not older than 12 years of age, is eligible to enroll in Extended Day. The student must display a need for, or benefit from, a supervised activity program.

The program opens at 6:45 am and runs until daily classes begin, resuming again after school and ending at 6:00 pm.
 

Summer Program

 
 
The program is not open on holidays, teacher work days, winter break, or spring break.

**Multi-Child Accounts: The oldest child is full price; there is a $10 discount per additional child in the immediate family (mother/father/guardian). If the oldest child is disenrolled from the program or has more than a three-week gap in attendance, the next oldest sibling will be charged full price.

Policies & Procedures

  • Fees are to be paid the first day of each week that your child attends.
  • Payments must be made by credit card, check, or money order. 
  • Summer School Extended Day fees must be paid with credit/debit cards only.
  • If checks are returned due to insufficient funds, all future payments must be made using a cashier's check or money order.
  • The second time your credit card is declined, you will be required to make all future payments with a money order.
  • Delinquency of payment can result in the removal of your child from the program.
  • Absences are not credited; however, illness of one consecutive week or more may be credited.
  • No discounts, waivers, or exemptions.
  • The RevTrak "Parent Portal" allows families to view payments for tax purposes. 
  • Late fees will be charged for pickup after 6:00 pm
  • Repeated tardiness in picking up your child will result in the notification of the appropriate authorities and may result in removal from the program.
  • Changes to your child's registration require the submission of a Change of Registration Form. Only the person that signed the form may view or alter the form.
  • In case of emergencies, contact the Extended Day Site Manager at each school.
