Aquabots is an underwater robotics group through SeaPerch. Students build underwater robots from scratch, test them out in the water, and modify them to make them the best they can be. The Aquabots will use their ROVs (Remote Operated Vehicles) to navigate through an obstacle course and complete a challenge course. RES students participate in practice sessions and a regional competition. 

• Rymfire team Aquabots 6 was invited to compete at the 2018 SeaPerch International Competition. 
• Rymfire Team Baby Shark placed 5th at the 2019 Regional competition.

Students at RES in grades 3–5 can participate in the Bridge Building Program's Basketball Skills and Drills Clinics. Sessions focus on shooting technique, ball handling, passing and basketball fundamentals.

Young Leaders Helping Others

In the K-Kids club students learn leadership through service. Students will plan and participate in community service projects, assist the elderly with chores, and organize community food drives.They will also serve their school, raising funds for sports equipment and extracurricular activities.

In big and small ways, students in this club will change the world around them. But the most significant change happens in the students themselves.

Principal's Advisory is a group of students in Grades 4–5 (one student from each class). The students meet with administration to discuss school-related issues such as safety, discipline, special programs, and activities on campus. They provide a student's perspective to school administration, and also provide school information to their classmates.

All 4th and 5th grade students are eligible for the Running Club. Students in the club will train for and participate in a 5K.

Soccer Shots of Central Florida is an engaging children’s soccer program with a focus on character development. The Soccer Shots team positively impacts children’s lives on and off the field through best-in-class coaching, communication, and curriculum. 

Soccer Shots at RES focuses on individual skill, fitness, and sportsmanship, providing an opportunity for students to be challenged through fun games and team interaction. Children will also be introduced to competition in a developmentally appropriate manner.

Student Council is a group of selected students from Grades 4–5 (one student from each class). The students selected depict the character traits and expectations of all Rymfire students as well as leadership qualities. Some of the membership responsibilities include planning and assisting with school events, representing and reporting back to their teachers and classmates, and participating in activities that promote leadership and a positive school environment.

Students work in smaller groups on a rotational weekly basis.
