Kindergarten at RES

Kinderroundup (PDF)

Welcome to Rymfire Elementary School, where your child will gain new friends, new skills, and experience all-day learning fun. There's a lot to look forward to at RES, where we strive to help our young Roadrunners understand the importance of a healthier lifestyle through experiences that focus on exercise and nutrition. We do this by nurturing interest in medical science and increasing awareness of various health and medical careers.

Your child's world will grow a little more each and every day in kindergarten at RES. When they walk into these halls, they will walk into a world of discovery, creativity, and support. From the very start, we focus on routines, which help your child move confidently throughout the school day.

In RES's kindergarten classrooms, teachers bring learning to life through hands-on activities, story-telling, and play. Kindergarten is more about "ABCs" and "123s," it is also about art and music - where creativity shines! It is physical education where your child stays active and learns teamwork. It is the media center where young minds explore the world through books, and the cafeteria where students enjoy meals and practice independence.

We look forward to being a partner in your child's educational journey!
