Parent Teacher Organization
Rymfire Elementary School invites all parents and teachers to participate in our Parent Teacher Organization (PTO). The PTO promotes communication between families, staff, and the community in order to enhance educational and extracurricular experiences for our students, and support our school's goals.
Purpose
The Rymfire Elementary School Parent Teacher Organization, also known as RES PTO, is an active organization set up to carry out both educational and fun activities for students during the school year.
The RES PTO invites you to join us in making a difference in the education and quality of life for all of our students.
- Make a Difference
- Have a Voice
- Use your Voting Rights
- Stay Engaged and Informed
Membership
Becoming a member of the RES PTO comes with many benefits. Members cast their votes on important PTO matters, serve on event committees, and have access to participate in PTO-sponsored events.
RES PTO membership requires an annual contribution of $5.00, which includes membership for the entire family. This contribution allows the PTO to fund projects that benefit the school. Please submit your contribution with a completed membership form. Checks should be made payable to Rymfire Elementary School PTO.
Joining the PTO is not a commitment to volunteer or attend PTO meetings. Your membership shows support for our school and is greatly appreciated by the students and staff at RES.
Meetings
RES PTO meetings will be held in the Oasis Media Center. Children are welcome to attend with their families. Event reminders will be created and distributed through social media, and paper memos will be sent home with your student. At each PTO meeting, volunteers have the opportunity to sign up for upcoming events.
You may still join the PTO even if you are not able to attend meetings. There are many ways RES families can get involved!
Volunteering
There is no obligation to volunteer as a PTO member, but we hope you will choose to make yourself available to the school in some capacity. Every hour counts in making a difference!
The PTO and teachers will be organizing many fun activities and would love to have all RES families and community members join! The more involvement, the stronger our voices and the more time our teachers have to spend with our students. Donations of money and supplies are wonderful, but so is your time and talent.
If you are interested in volunteering during school hours, or at events where parents are not in attendance, Flagler Schools requires all volunteers to be registered. Please visit the Flagler Schools website for volunteering information, including application, clearance, and badging procedures.Contact Us
